Ian Petillo writes exciting, thoughtful compositions that are invigorating to listen to. The ensemble is mature and cohesive while Ian's drumming is most impressive. Growing up a fan and listener of standard jazz, this was refreshing and more than what I expected. His execution is stylistically perfect and Ian's melodies are linear and engaging. Looking forward to more material.
